So I have heard it said that "A woman should dance with God because he will let the perfect man cut in" Until about two months ago I was very skeptical of this statement. I mean how does one know that she is letting the right man cut in, and that God is okay with him cutting in. Then Mitch happened. He waltzed right back into my world after I had been so ripped and torn that I thought that I would never let my guard down again. He wanted to be my best friend first and foremost he wanted to make sure that this was the right thing to do that we didn't just rush into a relationship for the sake of saying that we are in a relationship. We talked all the time, he called me when he was on break and on his way home from work. We would talked for hours and text all day. I realized I missed my best friend from the summer and that I wanted him back in my life even though I was the one that push away, that became "to busy to hang-out" when in fact I was just scared, scared of falling for the man that would still my heart.
How do I describe Mitch, he is quiet, but so funny he makes me laugh and smile like I haven't laughed or smiled in years. He is smart, yet humble he doesn't think to highly of himself and wants to learn more everyday. He has a heart for God and for missions, he is compassionate and loyal. He loves music and is very talented on the piano.
This is the man that one day I am going to marry. I love him.

my crazy life....
Spring Break 2010
So the week started off in the crazy delirium of a mission trip with my college group from Petal-Harvey Baptist. I love these people so much many many new inside jokes where created but most importantly we served the homeless and broken in Houston Texas. We got back on Monday night and Kat and I went to sleep at her parents home. We where very successful in sleeping away the day ;) then on Wednesday we headed of to New Orleans to see my beautiful sister. We went to church at Calvary that night. Then again went to bed pretty early...We are such bums. Thursday my super sweet boyfriend Mitch came to see me, and to FINALLY meet my sister and bro-in-law. We ate Phil's Grill and then went to city park to enjoy the beautiful weather. I must say that city park is on of my most favorite places in my soon to be hometown. We went to World Market and to Wal-Mart on the westbank afterward to get groceries for supper. Then we played Apples to Apples. FUN STUFF. The next day the three of us went to the French Quarter in hopes to get some Cafe Du' Monde which did not happen. So went got some coffee from Community Coffee which is ironic since Kat and I work at a coffee shop that serves community coffee. Then we went to my most favoritest store ever....LUSH!!!! then later that day I fell down and went BOOM! yes BOOM! it hurt though no broken bones but I am really sore all over! THEN on the way home I had break trouble so I could not go home to my family.....fun stuff...but I am going to go fishing with Mitch and his family and who knows where I will sleep tonight....what an adventure!
